The New Face of Independent Living Resources
Posted June 9, 2010

Independent Living Resource (ILR) is a national, non-profit organization devoted to helping people with disabilities live normal lives. ILR is one of the few organizations dedicated to empowering their client base through support, education and advocacy. ILR’s goal is to integrate people with disabilities into the community and eliminate barriers (mentally and physically) within the community.
Needing a new look that would commemorate their rich history and celebrate their bright future, ILR asked AG Design to re-brand them. AGD developed a logo that symbolizes the hope that ILR provides their clients. A rising sun illustrates the dawn of a new day and a fresh beginning. This symbolism is indicative of the services ILR provides their constituents. In addition to their new logo, AG Design developed informational brochures that are consistent with ILR’s new branding, and serve as an informational resource. AG Design is currently developing ILR’s website. Stay tuned for updates on the project.

New Logo for a Larson & Shores Subsidiary
Posted May 20, 2010
Recognizing the importance of branding and image, Larson & Shores, an architectural firm located in Oakland, enlisted the help of AG Design to develop the branding for a new product they are offering. In line with Larson & Shores commitment to earth sustainability, AG Design created a logo that would commemorate green living. A green leaf is the center piece of the logo. The leaf’s shape slightly mimics the shape of a house, alluding to the business of Larson & Shores. In addition, the veins of the leaf are comprised of people creating a representation of a family tree. This truly unique and meaningful logo is more than just an image, it is a compelling representation of Larson & Shores, their services and their new product line.
